Donald Jefferson “Don” House, 78, a lifelong resident of North Little Rock passed away April 11, 2016 after a brief illness. He was born to the late Jeff and Elaine House on February 3, 1938. Don graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1956. He was a retired Captain of the NLR Fire Department and a brick mason for many years.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Maycel Avants and nephew, Todd Lofton.

He is survived by his wife, his son, granddaughter, a very special great-grandson, a sister, brother-in-law Jim Avants, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 16, 2016 at Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock, the funeral service will follow at 11:00. Burial will be at Gravel Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church Building Fund or East Union Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
