Mrs. Maggie Sutherly

FORAKER, Nov. 16 - Mrs. Maggie Sutherly, 58, formerly of Lima, died at her home here Thursday after a long illness. She had been an invalid for 21 years and had been seriously ill two weeks.

Born Dec. 23, 1887, near Harrisonberg, W. Va., she had resided in and near Foraker 19 years, prior to that time residing in Lima 16 years.

She was a member of the Bethel Congregational Christian church at Tenthlegion, Va. She was married to Clarence F. Sutherly in Tenthlegion on June 5, 1909.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Harold K., Lynn-tp and Melvin F., West Mansfield; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Osborn, Foraker; 10 grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Welsch, Wilmington, Del., Clarence Welsch, Tampa, Fla., and Lester, Akron; three sisters, Mrs. Mable Layman, Harrisonberg, Va., Mrs. Elton Kline, Tenthlegion, and Mrs. Rita Snyder, Elkton, Va. A son, Harry, died Feb. 24, 1946.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Foraker Methodist church with Rev. Joel Krumlauf officiating. Burial will be in Grove cemetery.

Schindewolf funeral home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
