LeRoy H. Semph, 67, of Ada, died at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital this morning, where he was taken after being stricken by a heart attack at this home.

He was born July 19, 1917 in the town of Schleswig (Manitowoc County), a son of Arwin and Vera Jaschob Semph.

Mr. Semph graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1935 and the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the University of Wisconsin- Madison short course.

On June 23, 1945 he and the former Doris Kretsch were married in town of Herman. They made their home in Ada.

Mr. Semph was a self-employed electrician and also worked at Weinkauf-Specht Electric Co., Sheboygan and Lakeland College. He retired in 1981.

He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in the town of Herman and its Brotherhood. He also served on the church's consistory.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Gary, Ada; two brothers, Ralph of Erdman and Kenneth of Apple Valley, Calif.; and one sister, Mrs. Doris Blackburn of Port Wentworth, Ga. He was preceded in death by a sister.
