Elizabeth J. Houser, 89, of Bethlehem Twp., formerly of Wilson Borough, passed away on June 6, 2014 in her home. Born: She was born October 1st, 1924 in Wilson Borough. She was the daughter of the late Frederick W. and Margaret Foster Meischeid.
Personal: Elizabeth was employed at Food Fair Grocery Store in Wilson years ago before becoming a homemaker. Memberships: She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantel Catholic Church. She was very active with the church.
Survivors: She was predeceased by her husband Harry F. Houser who passed away in 2009 and her two sisters Marie Thompson and Rita Ann Meischeid. She is survived by her loving sons; Fred Houser and his wife Nancy of Apopka, Fl., and Bob Houser and his wife Doris of Bethlehem Twp., Pa. Her beloved grandchildren; Jason, Kyle and Stephanie Houser. Her siblings; Joe and Richard Meischeid both of Palmer and Peggy Fisk of Wilson Borough.
Services: Services will begin on Thursday June 12,2014 at 9:45AM in the Finegan Funeral Home 4080 William Penn Highway Palmer Twp., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Jane Frances de Chantel Catholic Church Palmer Twp. Calling hours will be held Wednesday June 11, 2014 from 6 to 8PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
