Of Desloge, passed away April 11, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born July 29, 1923, in Bunker, to the late Guy H. and Verda (Lewis) Sapaugh. Ruby was a member of the Flat River Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Clinton Smith.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Susan (Mrs. Buck) Newsome of Springfield; three grandchildren, Amanda Harper, Denver (Season) Counts, Jr., Clinton (Michelle) Ladd; five great-grandchildren, Noah, Amber, Paige, C.J. and Melody; one sister, Gayle Vulner.
