Services for John M. Casper will be held at 10:00 Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Price McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 Friday, April 15, 2016.
He died at 1:39 pm on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Fox Run Manor in Findlay. He was born on March 11, 1930 in Dola to the late Adam and Sinoretta (Clingerman) Casper.
Surviving are 1 sister, Annabell Doersam of Findlay; 6 nieces and nephews, Ann Bell of Arlington, Russell E. (Kathleen) Doersam of Forest, Patsy (Joe) Rice of Mentor, Jean (Larry) Killen of Ottawa, Jane Jolliff of Green Camp, and Micheal (Rhonda) Doersam of Amelia; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother Clair Casper.
He was a farmer and an Army veteran serving in Korean War.
John was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a member of the Farm Bureau. He liked to maintain his woods that looked like a park.
