Guy was a retired Fireman with Cobb County and a longtime member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a 50 year Mason with Acworth Lodge #176 and Past Worshipful Master. Junior loved working around a farm, antique cars but most people will remember him as the buggy man. He had a blacksmith shop where he would restore horse buggies and build wheels for them and once owned a horse drawn hearse.
Survivors include his wife Maye Ridings Turner of Kingston, daughters Brenda Black of Kennesaw and Beth and husband Ed Finnegan of Acworth, brother Ben Turner of Acworth, sister Shirley Eldredge of Oregon, grandchildren Travis, Joey and Ryan Moore, Daniel, Conner and Anna Finnegan, Krys West and Mike Finnegan, great-grandchildren Collin & Luke Moore, Jake, Nick , Luke and Kara West, Molly and Reid Finnegan and a host of extended family.
