New Ellenton, SC - Margaret Wall "Billie" Strickland, 78, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at her residence. A native of Augusta, GA, Billie was a daughter of the late Alvin Leslie and Thelma Beatrice Blackston Wall. She lived in Aiken County since 1962 and retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglass.

Survivors include a daughter: Judy S. Morris (Grover) of Aiken; three sons: Bobby Strickland of New Ellenton, Dewayne “Frog” Strickland of Aiken, Ken Strickland of Aiken; five grandchildren: Timmy Roberts (Barbara), Christie Frashuer (William), Scott Stoeppler, Gary Strickland (Michelle), Jenille Strickland; three great-grandchildren: Michael and Katie Roberts and Wynter Gregory; a special niece: Kathy Grimes of Harlem, GA and a brother-in-law: Alvin Turner of Lincolnton, GA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, April 16th at 1 PM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Ashley Hawkins officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Road, Aiken, SC.
