Mr. Childs married Barbara Leech, daughter of Malcolm W. and Elizabeth Humphreys Leech, on June 21, 1948. They settled in Ligonier for many years until they moved to nearby Stahlstown in 1982. Laskow, and Whitney G., Eliza G. and Julianna G. Childs.
