Patricia Ann Lloyd, 65, of Georgetown, died on April 1, 2016 at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, Charleston.
Ms. Lloyd was born on November 13, 1950 in Georgetown, South Carolina, to the marital union of Mr. Henry Lloyd and Mrs. Lena Bell Ruffin Lloyd.
Her parents and a sister, Eva Mae, predeceased her.
Her elementary and secondary education was received in the Georgetown County public school system. She graduated from Howard High School in 1969. After high school, she began working in domestic service in Myrtle Beach, SC. At an early age, Ms. Lloyd became a member of Bethesda Missionary Baptist church where the family worshipped.
She lovingly reared her nephew Kedrick Lloyd as a son, following the passing of his mother. Her nephew preceded her Home on July 16, 2016.
Survivors include, three sisters, Mary Doiley and Carrie Lloyd, both of Georgetown, SC, Cynthia Lloyd of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Elder Walter Lloyd of Rochester, NY and Timmy Lloyd of Georgetown, SC.
Funeral services were held on April 9, 2016 at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Alphonso N. Scott, pastor officiated.
