73, of Surprise, AZ passed away on March 28th, 2016. George was born March 30th, 1942 to George and Doris (Brown) Colebrook. George served eight years in the United States Air Force. After serving his country he attended Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. He graduated Cum Laude in three years with degrees in Accounting, Finance and Business. He continued his studies earning advanced degrees from Pace College and ASU. He was a financial loan officer at Irving Trust Company on Wall Street. He moved to Arizona to become a Vice President of Arizona Bank of Phoenix now Bank of America. He worked for the IRS for over 25 years. George was an avid golfer belonging to the Players Club, Cactus Club and holding offices for Desert Mashie Golf Club, Western States Golf Association. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Doris and stepbrother Todd Wilson. George is survived by his wife of 47 years Pollia, sisters Karole Colebrook and Stacy Colebrook, Children Sean, Dawn, James (Becky), George III (Laura). 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a host of family and friends A private burial service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. A Memorial Service will be on April 29th at 11:00 am at the First Institutional Baptist Church, 1141 E. Jefferson ARIZONA REPUBLIC 13 APR 2016
