Services for Mrs. Chessie Jane Reid, 95, of Ackerman were held Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Ackerman Methodist Church with burial in Enon Cemetery.

Mrs. Reid, a native of Winston County, died Feb. 16, 1999 at the Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville. She was a lifelong resident of Ackerman and was a member of the Ackerman United Methodist Church.

She leaves a son, Carlton M. "Bo" Reid of Ackerman; a daughter, Louise Draper of Ackerman; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was the widow of Hugh R. Reid.

Nowell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
