For information on Denny's forbears, see the bio of his mother: Lucy Amy Wheeler Densmore at Find A Grave Memorial# 161000819.

Denny has a sibling (sister) whose grave has not been found. She was born in 1857 and died circa 1869 -- at age 12 of appendicitis. Her name is:

Roey Carline Densmore

The family had left Crescent, Pottawattamie County, Iowa -- and had moved to Missouri where Roey died on the farm in McDonald County. Roey Carline's precise burial place is unknown, but she was probably buried on the farm. There is no record of burial in nearby cemeteries -- and no known stone with her name on it.

Denny's father, Azro Densmore, may have died in Iowa or may have later died while the family was in Missouri. The burial place of Azro is also unknown.

Denny assembled a large ranch in Indian Valley (southern Monterey County in California) with the help of his mother, sister and her children. He managed the ranch, the post office (Valleton, California) on the ranch, and operated a blacksmith shop (also on the ranch). He could build a wagon from scratch for a customer. And he was particularly skilled at breeding and training horses.

Denny did not marry and has no direct descendants.

This memorial page can not be linked to the grave of Denny's father, Azro Densmore, because the burial place of Azro can not be located. However, the graves of his grandparents are as follows:

1. Joel Densmore. 1789 - 1870. Chelsea, Vermont. Memorial # 106873742.
1. Sally Bixby Densmore. 1793 - 1846. Chelsea, Vermont. Memorial # 106873780.
