Dora Nellie Foster, age 88, was born April 26, 1931 in McCreary County, the daughter of the late Joe Curtis and Emma Jane Coffey Roberts. She departed this life, Tuesday morning, February 4th reaching the age of 88 years.

On August 14th 1948 she was united in marriage with Kermit Foster who precedes her in death. To this union three children survive: Gary Thomas and his wife Delores Foster, Patsy and her husband Al Morrow, and Valerie and her husband Ricky Branscum.

Also, surviving are eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and her sister Barbara Gregory.

She is preceded in death by: her grandson, Scott Thomas and great grandson, Noah Thomas Foster. Also, siblings, Kathleen Burke, Clara Jones, Betty June Foster, Hobert, Jack, Roosevelt, David, Jewellene Roberts, Logan, Ed, Joe Bill, Charlie, Marvin, Polly, Georgia, Lucy and Cora Roberts.

Nellie accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bronston where she taught Sunday School for over thirty-five years.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2020 between 5pm - 8pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10 am at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Bronston Baptist Church Cemetery.
