Samuel Roberts, Esq. Judge. "On the petition of Elizabeth Flowers, widow and relict of Benjamin Flowers, late of the County of Greene, setting forth that the said Benjamin Flowers died intestate, leaving John Flowers, his son, and Margaret, Elizabeth, and Sarah, his daughters, his heirs, all of which four children are under the age of fourteen years, and that the said children are entitled to some personal estate by the death of their said father. She therefore prays the Court to appoint a guardian of the persons and property of the said four minor children and recommends Jacob Black, Esq., as a suitable person for that purpose. Whereupon the Court appoints Jacob Black, Esq., guardian of the said John, Margaret, Elizabeth, and Sarah Flowers, agreeably to the prayer of the petitioner."
