Kemmon Daniel Jones Jr., 44, 12 N. 11th St., died Friday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born May 28, 1955, in Anderson, he was the son of Kemmon D. and Lois McKibban Jones Sr.
He graduated from Wendell L. Willkie High School in 1973 and Barber College in 1977.
He married Jill Abner Oct 20, 1979.
He was employed as a barber at Belvedere Hairstyling in Anderson for 22 years and was actively involved as a coach in Elwood Minor League; Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball Leagues. He attended the First Pentecostal Church on South 22nd Street.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; a son, Kemmon Daniel Jones III, at home; a daughter, Keah Dannette Jones, at home; a brother, Paul Jones, of Elwood; two sisters, Sheila Ball of Elwood and Valorie Reynolds of Brownstown; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Dennis H. Yohe and Samuel Jones.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Max Bingham and Joe Collier officiating. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Dunnichay Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be i: made to the Kemmon Jones Children's Scholarship Fund or Elwood Little League or Babe Ruth Baseball Leagues through the funeral home.
