Sallie Walker Jennings Rice, 93, former resident of McCormick, widow of William Richard Jennings and Edwin Clough Rice, passed away January 28, 2024, at Brookdale Senior Living, Greenwood SC. Born December 2, 1930, in Troy she was a daughter of the late Allen R. and Rebecca Young Walker. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church and an avid golfer. Surviving are two sons, Wayne Jennings and wife Mary Lee and Jerry Jennings and wife Claudia, both of Greenwood; one daughter, Vicki Drennon and husband Tommy of Starr SC; a sister, Belle Storey of Washington GA; four grandchildren, Jason Jennings and wife Beth of Simpsonville, Mathis Jennings and wife Jessica of Omaha NE, Elizabeth Martin and husband Ryan of Kernersville NC, Ashleigh Craft and husband Austin of Anderson; eight great-grandchildren, Molley and Bret Jennings, Charlotte and Caroline Jennings, Elijah, Anna, and Caleb Martin, and Grey Craft.
