EVANS, JULIE DANETTE, 37, of Louisville passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Baptist Hospital East.

She was a Ballard High School graduate who received her bachelor's degree from U of L and then her master's degree from Bellarmine University. Julie has been a school teacher with the Jefferson Co. Board of Education teaching at Zachary Taylor Elementary School and a member of Lynnhurst U.C.C.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Margaret Evans.

She is survived by her loving parents, Daniel and Bonny Evans; sisters, Amy L. Evans and Angela M. Payne (Danny); maternal grandparents Ernie and Mary Cates and five nieces, LeeAnne, Mikayla, Mariah, Savannah and Alexa who knew Julie as their loving, caring and giving aunt.

Her Celebration of Remembrance will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Friday.
