Born on Dec. 15, 1954, to Carl E. and Dorothea D.(Spencer) Scott in Anderson.
Carla was a proud 1973 graduate of Anderson High School where she created lifelong memories that she cherished dearly, including her devotion to the AHS Indianettes. After high school she worked in many capacities, her longest being a staple at Independent Federal Credit Union, where she wore many hats but none as proudly as serving the members as the Chief Union Stewardess. By the summer of 2015, after 38 years of dedication, she retired to enjoy spending time with family. Carla had a love of photography, genealogy, horses, and collecting patriotic memorabilia.
Carla is survived by her lifelong friend, Jeff Dyer; daughters, Chelsea (Dayne) Walker of Pendleton and Kacie (Michael) Weldy of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Charlotte, Katherine, Meaghan and Alex; brother, Michael (Mary) Scott; cousin, Karen Clark; brother-in-law, Eddie Patton; nieces, Mary Beth and Michelle (Scott) and nephew, Marvin Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Debra K. Patton.
The services honoring the life of Carla Scott will be held at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Visitation celebrating her life will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and then again on Saturday for an hour prior to the service.
Carla will be laid to rest at Anderson Memorial Park directly following services.
