Janet Lane Foshee, 65, passed away of natural causes on April 11, 2016 at her residence in Moss Bluff. She was born in Lake Charles and lived in Lake Charles and Moss Bluff all her life.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff where she served as a pianist and taught Sunday school.

Janet was a graduate of McNeese University and worked as a nurse for Moss Regional Hospital prior to her retirement. She also volunteered at ABC Pregnancy Resource Center. She continued to take music lessons including piano, violin, and cello. She was always learning and taking classes. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

Ms. Foshee is survived by two sons Eric Foshee and wife Holly of Moss Bluff, James Foshee and wife Candice of Moss Bluff, daughter Jennifer Phillips and husband Evan of Rhome, Tx., grandchildren Michael and Matti Foshee, Margaret Phillips, brothers Vaughn Eggleston and wife Shanna of Moss Bluff, Ralph Eggleston of San Rafael, Ca., sisters Phyllis Feaster and husband Gary of Benton, La., Carol Cahill and husband Mike of Oklahoma City, Ok., numerous nieces and nephews, and a foster child.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Elizabeth Eggleston, and her daughter Stephanie Carol Foshee.
