Mrs. Hill was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Crossville, the daughter of Jack and Gladys (Fields) Maddux. She graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1953. She also attended David Lipscomb College and Tennessee Tech University. Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Frank Burks of Crossville and Sally and Bill Costello of Duluth, GA; son, James "Jim" Hill of Crossville; and grandchildren, Shannon and Joey Costello of Duluth, GA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Cotton" Hill, and brother, Clyde Ivan Maddux.
Pallbearers were Brock Hill, David Hill, Denny Maddux, James Sidney Mayberry, James Parrot and Jimmy Smith.
