Scott Mcrae Moore
August 27, 1976 - April 9, 2016

Kingsport- Scott Mcrae Moore, 39, of Kingsport, went to be with Jesus early Saturday morning (April 9, 2016) at Johnson City Medical Center.

He was born in California and moved to Kingsport to be with the Love of his life. He was employed with Kingsport City Schools. Scott was an active member of Christian Life Center and was very involved with outreach at the church. He volunteered at John Adams Elementary School as a crossing guard. He especially loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Moore; a sister, Larae Vaughn and a niece, Rachel Vaughn.

Scott Moore is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Krystal Elliott Moore; his daughter, Bethany Grace Moore; mother, Fay Moore; beloved brother, Paul Moore and wife, Shawnecee; sisters, Beth Ezidro and husband, Tony, Kim Mintzer and husband, Bill along with several nieces, nephews, and church family.

Calling hours will be held on Monday (April 18, 2016) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Christian Life Center.

A service will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Keith Barker, officiating. Music will be provided by the church choir and his family.

A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday (April 19, 2016) at 11 a.m. at East Tennessee Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Moore family.
