Effie Mae Baldwin
Effie Baldwin, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at Golden Living Center Woodlands in Newburgh, IN.
Mrs. Baldwin was born December 18, 1925 in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Warren Thomas Hawkins and Ola Lynn Crabtree Hawkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James David Baldwin; two brothers; and four sisters.
She attended Providence Rural United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, dancing, Kentucky Wildcats, playing cards, cooking, and mostly spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Mike (Candy) Baldwin of Madisonville; two daughters, Diana (Ron) Cavins of Newburgh and Patty Story (Alan) of Calvert City, KY; one sister, Betty Esche of Newburgh, IN; four grandchildren, Brett and Brandon Cavins and Heath and Heather Baldwin, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Providence Rural Methodist Church with Mr. Ron Cavins officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery.
