Bonnie G. Miller Fowler, age 74, of Smithfield, PA., passed away suddenly at home on January 18, 2011.
She was born January 2, 1937 in Haydentown, Fayette County, PA., the daughter of Walter and Dorothy Kingan Miller. She was a devoted, loving, mother and grandmother who loved cooking Sunday dinners for her family.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Arthur Fowler; four children: Susan Carr and husband Clifford of Smithfield, PA., James (Tony) Fowler and fiancee, Sarah Arnold, of Friendsville, MD., David Fowler and wife Diann of Fairmont, W.V., and Kimberly Fowler of Morgantown, W.V.; six grand-children: Amanda, Alissa, Zachary, Cassandra, Joseph, and Bonnie P.; two brothers: Wallace Miller and wife Helene of Cleveland, Mo. and Glenn Miller and wife Erma of Smithfield, PA.
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents and sister, Doris Hornsby of Smithfield, PA.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, PA. today (Thursday) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday, January 21, 2011 from 9 to 11 a.m., the hour of the service with Pastor Kenny Rockwell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Park.
