Rex Winn, age 77, of Rigby, passed away in Idaho Falls, Monday, April 11, 2016.

Rex was born January 8th 1939 in Trenton, Utah a son to AdelBert Ray Winn and Gwennie May Thompson Winn. He grew up in Trenton, Utah graduating from North Cache High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Japan for four years. He married Annette Ashcroft September 23rd 1965 in the Logan LDS Temple. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a Depot Agent and Rate Clerk for over 30 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the NRA. He was a Ham Radio Operator and loved electronics, model railroading, fly fishing, bird hunting and wood working. He especially loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Annette Winn of Garfield, three sons; Ryan (Andrea) Winn of Garfield, Cameron Winn of Idaho Falls, and Matthew (Rachelle) Winn of Rigby, a sister Faye Goodwin of Logan, Utah, four grandchildren: Robert Ryan, Ashley Marie, Kortni Annette, and Mariah Annette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Shirley and two brothers Florin and Ray Dean.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 16th 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel.
