Curt graduated from Nitro (WV) High School in 1977. His passion for helping others led him to a career in paramedicine. He was an EMT for Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority and a firefighter for the greater Kanawha Valley. He loved the outdoors, bonfires, music and art.
