He was born in Denver, Colorado July 8, 1958 to Patricia Krzysiak and Johnie Marshall. His primary education was in Westminster, CO. He graduated from Pomona High School in Arvada, CO. He attended Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, CO and Mesa State College in Grand Junction, CO.
He was a welder and iron worker by trade. He married Shelly Pilloud in Steamboat Springs, CO. They later divorced. He had two daughters by this marriage: Stephie (Grant) McVay, of Livermore, CO, and Stacey (Zeke) Ayala, of La Junta, CO.
He is survived by his two daughters; two brothers: David (Robin) Tindall, of Grand Junction, and Michael (Stacy) Tindall of Delta, CO; two sisters: Christine (Brad) Miller, of San Diego, CA, and Catherine (Billy) McGinnis, of Cheyenne, WY; his dear companion, Mary White; his parents: Larry and Patricia Tindall; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Elliot; a brother, John D. Marshall; and his father, Johnie Marshall.
Steve loved his family and animals.
A reception after interment will be at Longs Park, Mt. Garfield Shelter on North end of the park. All are invited.
