John Milton Fidler, 81 of Melrose Avenue, Southampton, passed away Jan. 30 at home surrounded by his family.
Born Sept. 17, 1934, in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Norman and Marie Felty Fidler.
John was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and Central PA Business College, and he was a manager of Corporate Foundations for Deborah Hospital.
He was a veteran, having served in the Army.
John was a member of the American Legion, Pine Grove Masonic Lodge 409, F&AM; Supreme Forest of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of North America and the Schuylkill Forest No. 50.
John loved being with his family and enjoyed family gatherings.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Fidler.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Brenda Clouser Fidler; a daughter, Heidi M., wife of Anthony Volpe Jr., Southampton; four grandsons, Nicholas, Anthony, Noah and Brendan Volpe; cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Spring Mill Country Club, 80 Jacksonville Road, Ivyland. Interment will be held at a later date in Suedberg Church of God Cemetery, Pine Grove. H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
