Mary was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana and spent her retirement years in Florida and Texas. Mary loved painting, crocheting, knitting, birds of all kinds, and most of all playing cards with her friends and family.
Mary was a loving wife to Philip R. Minton for 62 years who passed away in 2003. They loved to travel, play golf together, spend time with their grandchildren, and entertain their friends. She was also a dedicated mother to Barbara Monjon, Mike Minton, and Janice Brissey who preceded her in death. Mary is survived by 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren who will always remember her strength, compassion, and sense of humor.
