Mary Jane was the only child born to James Howard Boyd and Dorothy Helen Thompson.
Mary was the long time proprietor of Central Cab Co. of Lawrence. Mary owned and operated the cab company from a very young age until 1988. She also worked as a home health aide for disabled adults through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in North Andover.
She enjoyed needle point crafts and her Saturday morning shopping sprees....forever looking for bargains. Mary found comfort and happiness with her family and pets.
She was married to the late Armand A. Gagnon with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage.
