Mrs. Annie Mae Brown, age 82, of Caldwell, died Sunday at the Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City.

Mrs. Brown was born October 26, 1933, in Madill, Oklahoma, and was the daughter of Cloyd Sammy Archer and Ottice Zilla Blackman Archer. She was a housewife, a past of employee of Reltoc Manufacturing, and was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brown married James O. Brown in 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1994. She is survived by three daughters; Nancy Allison of McCalla, Alabama, Diane Steward of Forrest City, and Lee Vondran of Colt, one son, James 'Jim' O. Brown Jr., of Colt, two brothers; Billy Archer of Amarillo, Texas, and O. C. Archer of Fort Worth, Texas, one sister, Rosemary Hartzog of San Diego, California, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-granchildren. She had one daughter, Sheila Marie Brown, who preceded her in death in 1963.

Services for Mrs. Brown will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, with burial in Hughes Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the on line registry.
