Beloved son of Joseph M. and Anita J. (Grinavic) Welch, both of Norwood. Loving brother of Joseph M. Welch and his wife Donna of Tewksbury and Kristen M. Carreiro and her husband Joe of Norwood.
Mark was a highly decorated Helicopter Pilot for the USMC Corps.
He had 5 deployments, 2 in Iraq, 1 in Bosnia, 1 in Kosovo and 1 in Afghanistan.
Mark was a 1989 graduate of Xaverian Bros. High School in Westwood, MA and was a 1993 Graduate of the US Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD.
Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood.
Burial with full military honors will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
