Catherine H. Fargo, 73, died suddenly Sunday, April 28, 2002.
She was a lifetime resident of the Akron area. Catherine had worked as a secretary at the San Hygiene Co. and as a secretary at Annunciation Catholic Church. She served as an eucharistic minister at Annunciation Church, Akron City Hospital, and St. Matthew Church. She had been a member of the K of C Auxiliary Charles Reymann Council 4664 and the Ellet Golden Keenagers. She loved her husband, family, and friends very much. She enjoyed the arts, traveling, nature, and laughing.
She is survived by Ed, her loving husband of 53 years. She also leaves sons, Anthony J. Fargo of Chaparral, N.M., and Timothy E. (Sofia) Fargo of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Joseph Fargo, Allison (Patrick) Currid, Erika Fargo, Karl Fargo, and Alexandra Fargo; brother-in-law, Jerry (Ann) Fargo; sisters-in-law, Sally Fargo and Angela Fargo; many aunts, uncles, loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral Mass at Nativity of the Lord Jesus Church, Myersville Rd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
