Kathryn Jane VanKirk

Daughter of the late Harold B. VanKirk and late Alberta Arnold VanKirk passed away in Tidewell Hospice House, Bradenton, Florida, September 18, 2014 at the age of 67 with her family at her side. She was born in New Haven, Indiana on July 12, 1947 and was a New Haven High School graduate class of 1965 and graduated from Indiana University in 1969 receiving a BS Degree in Education. She was a 30 year resident of Florida and enjoyed her most recent part-time job at the Sarasota Airport. She was a strong advocate / voice in animal rescue and loved her dog Schaatzi. Kathy loved to read, followed the Tampa Bay Rays and enjoyed Christian and Country music.

She is survived by her brother James VanKirk (Charlene) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and her sister Julia VanKirk Tracey (John) of Syracuse, New York and several nieces and nephews.
