Eddie James Adkins, 55, died March 30, 2016.
Mr. Eddie James Adkins departed this life for his heavenly home of Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee. He was born August 25, 1960. He was the second child born to Robert James Adkins and Catherine Adkins of Memphis, Tennessee.
Eddie graduated at Technical High School, Class of 1979 and continued his education at Martin, Tennessee. Eddie worked for Block Drug Company and ADT Security. Afterwards he pursued his own business, High Tech Security, for 15+ years. He was very compassionate and dedicated and assisted his customers until his death. Mr. Adkins was a caring brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed being in the company of his close family and friends who will miss him dearly, as well as his joy and laughter.

Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his parents, Robert James Adkins and Catherine Adkins. He leaves to cherish his memories and continue his legacy, his sisters, Freda Diane (Charles) Joiner and Caroline (Eddie) Farmer, both of Memphis, and Betty (William) Harris of Columbus, Mississippi, along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends. He loved his nieces and nephews so dearly – nephews, (Travis Pokey) Dedrick, Demontrell and Derrick, and nieces, Ashley and Kela.
