Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at St. John United church of Christ, Schwartzwald. The Rev. E. L. Henning will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Schleunes was born April 19, 1905, on the homestead, son of the late Fred and Minnie Mueller Schleunes. He attended Kiel high school and Milwaukee Conservatory of Music. As a boy and young man he was a student of the violin and an accomplished performer. For many years he played string bass with Kiel Municipal Band.
He married Lorena Raeder July 1, 1952. She survives along with a step-daughter, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Beauchamp, of Cicero, Ill., a brother, Dr. Albert Schleunes of Manitowoc, two nephews and a niece.
