Services for Edward F. Kirk, 70, 85 Polsgrove Road, will be 1 p.m. Monday at LeCompte and Johnson Funeral Home. He died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington. He was a farmer, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Frankfort. Survivors include his wife. Gladys Kirk, Frankfort; three sons, Jim Kirk, Shelbyville and Barry and Curtis Kirk, both of Frankfort; a daughter, Marsha Banta, Frankfort; a stepson, Chester Hall, Sparta, Tennessee; two sisters, Louise Gephard, Louisville and Betty Ekridge, Mt. Washington; four brothers, Noble Kirk, Frankfort; Emmitt Woods, Louisville, Louise Woods, Newport News, Virginia and Sammy Woods, Shelbyville, 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
