Lincoln, Feb. 9 (Special.)
A former Lincoln resident was asphyxiated in an explosion and resulting fire at a mattress factory in Boscobel, Wis., Thursday.
Edward Leach, 73, was found dead in his factory at 3:30 p.m. He apparently was the only one injured. An explosion in a stove is believed to have caused the fire. Mr. Leach worked in a casket and mattress factory here before moving to Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held Saturday in Boscobel, Wis., with burial to be in [Old] Union Cemetery here.
