The deceased was born in Holmes County in 1859, a son of Alex and Sarah Jane Cullison. He spent his early life near Blissfield, and for the past 30 years lived in Coshocton.
Mr. Cullison was married three times. His first wife, who died in 1895, was formerly Mary Mingle. To this union two children were born: Grover of Coshocton; and Mrs. Carl Jones of Cincinnati. Later he was united in marriage to Nancy Miller, who died in 1905. One daughter: Mrs. Walter Elder of Slippery Rock, Pa. was born to this union. He was later married to Carrie Stairheim, who died in 1931.
For many years Mr. Cullison was employed by the H.D. Beach Co. He was a member of the Blissfield Evangelical Church, but for the past several years had been a regular attendant of the Coshocton Nazarene Church.
Besides the three children, he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: David Cullison of Route 7; Mrs. Nora Graham and Mrs. Elizabeth Sharples of Akron; a half-sister: Mrs. Edna Funk of Roscoe; a half-brother: Darwin Strain of Killbuck; two stepsons: John Powelson of this city; and Russell Powelson of Indiana; and four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Blissfield Cemetery.
