Christopher was a 2015 graduate of Independence High School and was a member of Sunset Hills Missionary Baptist Church in Coal City. He enjoyed helping others and helping out the church in any way that he could. Christopher was a boy who loved the Lord who just lost his way.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Sonny and Mae Kelley, and great-uncles Richard and Berthel Kelley. Those left to cherish his memory include his sister Victoria "Tori" Nichols of Epperly, his step-dad Jody Nichols of Mabscott, his maternal grandparents, Richard and Victoria Nuzum of Epperly, Uncle David "D.J." Whitt and his aunt, Marilyn McKinney, of Epperly, Special great-aunt, Patricia Vaughn, of South Shore, Kentucky, and special cousin that he called Aunt, Robin Hatcher, of Jonben. Numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends also survive.
