Ben Terry "B.T." Miller Jr., 63, of Newton passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Carolinas HealthCare Northeast in Concord.
He was born Dec. 8, 1952, in Catawba County. "B.T." was a veteran of the U.S.Army and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Claremont. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother and father, Mary Lee and Ben Terry Miller Sr.; and a sister-in-law, Debra Miller.

He is survived by his dedicated wife of 40 years, #1 son; favorite daughter and son-in-law; mother-in-law and cherished granddaughters; Four brothers and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews and many loved cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends following the service.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 13, at 4 p.m., at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton, with Pastor Brian Correll officiating.
