Born April 21, 1965, in Brooklyn, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ann Verdu and had lived in the Alle-Kiski area most of her life.
Mrs. Cook was a graduate of Deer Lakes High School and had worked as a registered CNA with various institutions. She was a member of Pleasantview Brethren Church, in Parks Township, and enjoyed scrapbooking, spending time with her family and especially her pet dogs.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Cook, Jr.; her son, Christopher Robert Cook, of Vandergrift; a brother, Steven Verdu of Parks Township; and a sister, Barbara Verdu of Leechburg.
