Theodore Peterson passed away at the home of his son, Seph Peterson near Sand Creek Feb. 20, 1924.
Theodore Peterson was born in Norway, Sept. 28, 1850. He came to American in 1867 where he was married to Karen Larson Jan. 13, 1877.
To them were born ten children, two of whom died in infancy. The remaining ones are Seph, Alfred, Torphin, Mrs. Hans Berg, Mrs. Henry Anderson, Mrs. Vernon Madison, Mrs. Arthur Hanson of Sand Creek and Mrs. Fred Clausen of Superior.
He also leaves to mourn his loss, three brothers and one sister.
Mr. Peterson has been in poor health for a number of years. He died of heart failure having spent the last fourteen months of his life in bed.
The funeral services were held from the Norwegian Lutheran chuch of Sand Creek of which he was a member. Rev. Amundson officiated and theburial was made in the cemetery near town.
