Edna M. Bennett, 92, passed away August 4, 2016. Edna was born January 20, 1924 in Leoti, KS to Grover Lonberger and Sarah (Johns) Lonberger. She was one of eight children. The family moved to West Plaines, MO. After moving briefly to the East Coast, she returned to the Ozarks to help her father in the family business. There she met and married John F. Bennett. They made their home in the Ozarks, but also in Pomona, CA for several years before returning to the Midwest to live the rest of their lives. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Edna is survived by her eight children, Jo Ann, Dorothy, Sarah, John, Betty, Todd, Russell and Molly. She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Bennett. Graveside services will be 10AM, Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Forest Hill Cemetery.
