Mrs. Anna Briggs died in a Nyssa, Oregon, hospital sometime in 1956. Her parents were Rufus Hamilton and Betsy Drury Baker, (I'm still trying to find them). On September 3, 1884 she married James Ira Briggs in Bur Oak, Iowa. James Ira Briggs died April 17, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Anna lived in Bur Oak until 1894 when the family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Where they lived until 15 years, then they moved to Trenton, Utah for another 15 years and from there to San Francisco and then to Modesto, California.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.
