Jerry W. Holman, 67, of Duff, TN, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016, at his daughter’s home in Whitney Point, NY.
Jerry was born in Westbourne, TN on November 4, 1948, the son of the late Thomas Junior Holman and Alma Ellison Holman.
A resident of Duff, TN, since 2002, he had more recently made his home in Whitney Point, NY, for the past two years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served our country during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed woodworking and welding and had an incredible thirst for knowledge and always felt that he could not learn enough. He considered himself a “Jack of All Trades” and a “Master of None.”
He is survived by his daughters, Shannen (Jacob) Metcalf of Pitcher, NY and Trisha (Chris Nicholas) Holman of Whitney Point, NY. He also leaves behind his grand children, Christian, Braelyn, Gavin, Emily, Katie, Ruby, and Gabby; a brother, Terry Lee Holman of Duff, TN; his soul mate Jeannette Partin and her children, Megan (Chris Bloomfield) Stanaford and Ralph (Kimberly) Stanaford of Clairfield, TN and the mother of his children, Linda Ellis of Vestal, NY.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Ray Holman.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson & Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, TN, on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will begin Chadwell Cemetery, Campbell County, TN. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 2:00 p.m.
