Celebrating the life of Jordan Marshall Curtis, we remember him with love and affection as son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, friend and more recently as fiancé and father. We are thankful for his passion for life, unwavering love and friendship, and deep faith in the Lord.

Jordan entered into life on Sept. 28, 1983, at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He began his schooling in the Philippines, and then attended Longwood Elementary, Meigs Middle School and Choctawhatchee High School in the Shalimar/Fort Walton Beach, Fla. area. In 2014 he graduated from Choice Technical School for HVAC. A sports enthusiast, Jordan played soccer, baseball, and football during his school years, and was a number one fan of the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, San Antonio Spurs, and of course the Florida State Seminoles.

Jordan entered into eternal life on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 in Pensacola, Fla. The family extends their great appreciation to the doctors and nurses at West Florida Hospital and to LifeQuest for their uncompromising compassion for Jordan and his family at a difficult time.

Jordan is preceded in death by Dan and Laura McNamara (grandparents); Ralph Curtis (grandfather); Eber Kelly (grandfather); and Joel Curtis (brother). He leaves behind Jim and Debbie (McNamara) Curtis (parents); Justin and Amanda Curtis (brother and sister-in-law) and their children Kody and Ireland; Joshua Curtis and Ryan Curtis (brothers); fiancée, Amanda Rigdon, and their daughter, Adalyn Ann Curtis. He is also survived by his grandmother, Allene Kelly of Victoria, BC, Canada; and numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and countless friends.

A Celebration of Life service, with Pastor Charlie Anderson officiating, will be held at Emerald Coast Worship Centre, where Jordan found his Spiritual home. Service: Emerald Coast Worship Centre at Santa Rosa Mall off Hollywood Blvd; date: Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014; visitation: 3 to 5 p.m., service: 5 to 6 p.m., reception at the Worship Centre from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

In addition to his daughter, Adalyn, Jordan gave the gift of life to three people through his organ donations. To acknowledge this last act of love, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to LifeQuest Organ Recovery Services, 720 SW Second Avenue, North Tower, Suite 570, Gainesville, FL 32601 http://www.lifequestfla.org/.
