Randy Christopher Simmons, 32, lost his long and difficult battle with heroin addiction on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the home of his step-mother, Linda Marker, in Somerset County. Randy was born in Pittsburgh on July 30, 1983, the son of Craig J. and the late Sharon (Wallace) Simmons. He is survived by his daughter, Kenzie Elizabeth Simmons; father; and brother, Robin Simmons. He is also survived by Simmons aunts, uncles, and cousins in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties, and Wallace relatives in Michigan. He had attended Holy Family and St. Vincent Churches in Latrobe, and graduated from Derry High School. Randy was much loved by those who knew him for his kind and gentle spirit, and his loving personality. He loved his daughter more than words can say. A troubled soul is at peace today.
