On Tuesday, September 15, 2015, Clara Boyette Morse went to be with her heavenly father. Born August 19, 1926, Clara spent many years in Winnfield, LA, only to return to her home in Hopewell to live out her later years. She is predeceased by her husband, John David Morse, Sr. and her parents, Walter L. Boyette and Lucy Daniel Brooks. Also by her siblings: Sarah B. Whisenant, Gladys B. Forehand, Marion B. Campbell, Mills Boyette and just recently, David C. Boyette, and nephews Charles Boyette and Rickie Campbell. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Morse, granddaughter, Courtney Howard and great-granddaughter Caleigh Howard. Also her brothers and sisters: Paul A. Boyette (Imogene), Doris B. Shields, Magdalene (Boo) Jones, Elsie B. Johnson, Joseph Boyette, Naomi Jenkins, Richard Boyette, Sr. and Rachel Rollins, Clara also left many nieces, nephews and cousins numbering 4 generations.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the First Congregational Christian Church, 306 Memorial Avenue at 4:00 p.m. with a visitation to follow.
