Betty was born Feb. 6, 1926 in Broadwell, the daughter of George and Anna (McDonald) Gieseke. She married Howard "Chris" Horn in September of 1950. He preceded her in death in March of 1978.
Betty is survived by her brother, Lloyd (Emogene) Gieseke; sister, Norma Duckett; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Betty was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Howard Horn and sisters, Grace Rapp and Georgeann Horn.
Betty enjoyed bowling; she was a member of many bowling leagues. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandsons; she especially enjoyed hosting her family for holidays.
Betty worked for many years as a Logan County Bailiff and for the Lake Fork Grain Co. She also worked part-time for many years at Dairy Queen until October of 2015.
